Immigration Consultant Fees in Canada
We believe you should understand what immigration help costs before you commit to anything. Your initial consultation is free, and if you choose to work with us you receive a clear, fixed written quote for our professional fees. No surprises and no hidden charges.
How Our Fees Work
Immigration is a major decision, and cost is one of the first things most people want to understand. RA Migration is built around clear, upfront pricing so you can plan with confidence.
It starts with a free consultation. We review your situation, explain the realistic options and outline what each pathway involves. If you decide to move forward, we prepare a written service agreement that states the professional fee, exactly what is included and the payment schedule, before any work begins.
As a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, Rami Khattouf, RCIC #R531957, works under the professional and ethical standards of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), which requires fees to be set out clearly in a retainer agreement.

The Two Costs in Every Immigration Application
When people ask how much an immigration application costs in Canada, there are really two separate amounts. Understanding both helps you budget accurately and avoid surprises.
1. Professional fees
This is what you pay RA Migration for our expertise: assessing your eligibility, building your strategy, preparing and reviewing your forms and documents, and managing your file with the authorities. This is the fee we quote you in writing.
2. Government fees
These are paid directly to IRCC or other authorities, for example application processing fees, biometrics and the right of permanent residence fee. The government sets these amounts and they can change. They are never part of our professional fee, and we do not add any markup.
Ways We Can Help With Your Application
Not everyone needs the same level of help. Some clients want us to handle everything, while others simply want an expert review before they submit. We offer a few clear options, and the right fit is confirmed during your free consultation.
Document Review
You prepare your own application and we review it before you submit, so you can file with more confidence.
- Expert review of your forms and documents
- Feedback on gaps, risks and inconsistencies
- Peace of mind before you submit
Full Representation
We act as your authorized representative and manage your application from start to finish.
- Eligibility and strategy tailored to your case
- Full preparation of forms and submission package
- We deal with the authorities and respond to requests
- Guidance through every stage to a decision
Guided Support
A middle option where we coach you through the process while you complete the steps yourself.
- Step by step guidance on your application
- Help understanding forms and requirements
- Support when you are unsure how to proceed
Every option begins with a free consultation, and your exact professional fee is confirmed in writing before any work starts.
What Affects the Cost of Your Application
Two cases are rarely identical, which is why we quote each file individually instead of applying one price to everyone. These are the main factors that influence a professional fee.
Type of application
A visitor visa, a work permit and a permanent residence application involve very different amounts of work.
Family members included
Adding a spouse or dependent children means more forms, documents and checks for each person.
Document complexity
Missing records, foreign documents needing translation, or complicated histories take more time to handle properly.
Prior refusals or issues
A previous refusal, a misrepresentation concern or an admissibility issue usually requires extra care and analysis.
How urgently you file
Tight deadlines and time sensitive filings can affect how a file is planned and prioritized.
Level of support
A one time document review costs less than full representation where we manage the entire file for you.
What Is Included In Every Engagement
When you retain RA Migration, your written service agreement makes the commitment clear on both sides. You always know what you are paying for and what to expect.
- A written retainer agreement that states the professional fee and payment schedule.
- Professional fees disclosed upfront, in line with CICC requirements.
- Government fees explained separately and clearly.
- Honest advice about your prospects, without promises of approval.
- Direct support from a licensed RCIC and our team.
Our promise on pricing
We will never start chargeable work without your written agreement, and we will never add surprise fees partway through your file. If your situation changes and more work is needed, we discuss it and agree on it with you first.
Immigration Consultant Fees: Frequently Asked Questions
Professional fees depend on the type of application, its complexity, the number of family members included and the level of service you choose. After your free initial consultation we provide a fixed written quote so you know the full professional fee before you decide to proceed. Government fees charged by IRCC are separate and paid directly to the government.
Consultant fees are the professional fees you pay RA Migration for advice and to prepare and manage your application. Government fees are paid to IRCC or other authorities, for example application processing fees, biometrics and the right of permanent residence fee. Government fees are set by the government, change from time to time and are not part of our professional fee.

Yes. Before any work starts you receive a written service agreement that sets out the professional fee, what is included and the payment schedule. As a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant we are required by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants to disclose fees clearly in a retainer agreement.
Many engagements are structured in stages that align with the progress of your file. The available payment schedule is set out in your written service agreement. Ask us during your consultation what options apply to your case.
Two applications are rarely identical. Case type, family size, document complexity, prior refusals and how urgently you need to file all affect the work involved. This is why we quote each file individually after reviewing your situation, rather than applying a single price to every client.
